Do NOT drive through Boston or take the subway right now. The emergency radio is buzzing with more possible bombs. Please spread this everywhere you can to let your friends and family members know. It could save a life.

i feel sick to my stomach.

I almost forgot how much I’m absolutely in love with and miss crew so much. The feeling of waking up at dawn on a brisk morning. Sipping on steaming coffee with your teammates the day of a big race. Taking the boat out on a serene lake almost like glass. Gliding up to the starting line with knots in your stomach and a lump in your throat praying you do well. Nervously sitting at the starting line as the referees are shouting your places and start times. And suddenly your at the starting line the whistle blows and your off head to head your racing against time with the other boats pushing the oar through the water with full force almost like breaking through a brick wall. Sweat dripping down your face but in your heart you know your giving it your all to the end. You catch up to the other boats and your coxswain yells power ten in two! Your whole boat gives it there all crashing through the finish line and as you look around a sense of relief then over joyment fills your body. Your team has won you feel such a strong bond with the whole boat and a sense of pride as you lift the boat off the dock and everyone is congratulating you. Crew is something that anorexia took away from me but I hope someday recovery is what will bring me back to the sport I live for and the adrenaline rush I would give up everything to feel again.
